The LuLu Bean farm stand, formerly known as H&W Farms at 13331 Belding Road, may be facing legal action after the Grattan Township Board decided to have their attorney send the business a letter restating the requirement of a special land use application. Township officials say the business must obtain the permit because they believe its operations bear more resemblance to a retail store, rather than a traditional agricultural farm stand.
