More than 200 children rescued, 350 child sex offenders arrested in one month
The monthlong FBI-led operation involved all 56 field offices and U.S. Attorney’s offices, with key arrests in several states.
Operation Iron Pursuit rescued more than 200 children and arrested more than 350 child sex offenders during April, with the Buffalo FBI Field Office leading key enforcement actions nationwide.
Targeted enforcement operations are ongoing; Operation Relentless Justice last December rescued 205 children, while Operation Enduring Justice last August rescued 133 and Operation Restore Justice last May rescued 115.
Key arrests included an Army Reservist in Minneapolis charged with producing CSAM while in uniform and CJ A. Wolf of Lewiston, New York, who confirmed he had $200 for a half hour with an undercover officer.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated, "we are coming for you," while FBI Director Kash Patel said the FBI works "24/7 to break networks of child abusers all across this country."
The DOJ urges the public to report suspected exploitation by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, emphasizing that criminal actors targeting America's children will be pursued and brought to justice.
