The number of Romanians requesting to be excluded from gambling halls or casinos is growing at a worrying rate. In the last six months, almost 12,000 have requested this, up from 2,500 before, according to the National Office for Gambling.

Last week, the unprecedented situation of people requesting that their decision to stop gambling be taken into account was discussed in a meeting of the advisory board of the National Office for Gambling (ONJN).
