More charges following Osoyoos encampment shooting

Police say no one was injured as investigators added charges including reckless discharge of a firearm and uttering threats.

Following a shooting near an unhoused encampment in Osoyoos, further charges have been sworn against an Alberta man arrested following the incident. An statement from the RCMP shared that a 68-year-old man had barricaded himself in his motorhome on May 29 after police arrived and secured the area, leading to a standoff for several hours.
