The hearing of the Commercial Court of Lorient has just ruled on the situation of the Foundry of Brittany.
Resumed last year by the Bordeaux group Europlasma, the Fonderie de Bretagne is placed in judicial reform and needs a financing of three million euros by 17 July.
The company, which specialises in cast iron parts, must find three million euros before 17 July. Otherwise, "it will be liquidation", warns the CGT.

Europlasma, a Bordeaux group specializing in waste disposal and treatment, was presented in April 2025 as the savior of the Foundry of Brittany. A year later, the Morbihan site of Caudan was placed in judicial reform by the Commercial Court of Lorient on 3 July 2026. The 245 employees have 14 days to find 3 million euros, otherwise the company will be liquidated.
