The plaintiff, Simon Saint-Onge, is looking to sue the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) on behalf of all commuters who hold a transit pass for the month of June after a labour strike has led to major disruptions to bus and Metro lines all week.

Class action sought in transit strike

A request for a class action suit was filed this week to sue the STM for partial transit pass refunds due to loss of service from the strike. The union is also named here, although the formal terms aren’t gone into.
