Months of Waiting in Line at Doctors' Offices Continue to Be a Pain: Is Centralization to Blame?

Although queues for specialist doctors are one of the most pressing problems in the healthcare system, there have been no major changes yet. According to the president of the Hospital Association, queues for some doctors can last up to a couple of months. According to the Ministry of Health, no quick changes can be expected.

According to data from the Department of Health, the average wait for a first visit with the specialist is almost four months (118 days compared to 104 a year ago), a rise of 12%.
