Prime Minister closed with Mercedes Balsemão toponymic plaque giving the name of the former Prime Minister to an avenue of Cascais. Balsemão, Montenegro said, was an example that encourages us not to define before reality.
The Prime Minister attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Francisco Pinto Balsemão Avenue. He says that the former leader of the PSD serves as an inspiration for the Government during the most turbulent times.
This Tuesday was inaugurated Francisco Pinto Balsemão Avenue, an homage of the Chamber of Cascais to the former Prime Minister, who was also founder of SIC and Expresso.
Head of Government pointed out the founder of the PSD as an example that one should risk and not fear the changes.
The Prime Minister today cited Francisco Pinto Balsemão as an example and inspiration for the Government, showing that one cannot "wither in the face of adversity" and can "regain confidence and morale," even when there are "indications to the contrary."
