The central cashier of the National Bank of Romania is changing. Starting with February 1, Mugur Tolici will take over the position of director, replacing Ion Nițu, who led the department for almost 27 years. On the banknotes issued from now on, next to the signature of the NBR governor, Mugur Isărescu, a new one will appear, that of Mugur Tolici.
