PARIS (AP) — Monaco striker Paris Brunner is facing a ban after being referred to the disciplinary body of the French league for celebrating a goal with a throat-slitting gesture.
The 20-year-old German equalized for the Monegasques in the match against Strasbourg and made a gesture with his hand as if he was cutting his own throat.
The National Ethics Committee chaired by Frédéric Thirez announced this Monday that she had taken the LFP's disciplinary commission to look at the controversial celebration of the German striker.
