Due to overcrowded facilities at Cape Henlopen High School, the District is installing eight modular classrooms to expand classroom space. Four of the modular units will go to the High School and four to the Sussex Consortium. Each can accommodate about 25 people, and have AC and heat, but no running water. The modular classrooms will be ready for use by the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
