The Swiss airline reported a slight decline in profit of 3.2 percent for the first half of 2026.
Swiss has completed its first half of the year, with sales rising by 3.2 percent to CHF 2.77 billion, while operating profit declined.
Swiss achieved an adjusted EBIT of 189.3 million Swiss francs (around 203 million euros) in the first half of the year, as the Lufthansa subsidiary announced. In the same period last year, the result was still 195.1 million Swiss francs.
In the first half of the year, Swiss was almost able to maintain its flight altitude despite an explosion in fuel costs caused by the Iran war. Strong demand and austerity measures helped to partially compensate for the much higher fuel bill.
