Third Israeli opposition MK quits Gantz's party for Eisenkot's new political venture
Orit Farkash Hacohen said she would stay in the Knesset 'to ensure the opposition is not harmed.' This is the third resignation from Gantz's party, following former IDF chief Eisenkot and Matan Kahana's resignations, who cited disagreements over the party's future
Farkash-HaCohen joins Matan Kahane, who also resigned from Benny Gantz's party. The Knesset member will join the new framework that the former Chief of Staff is establishing. A month ago, she declared in a tweet: "I am staying, I believe in Gantz and his path." The time of her departure from the Knesset will be decided later so as not to harm the opposition.
