- On May 2, 2025, siblings Lilly Sullivan, aged six, and her four-year-old brother Jack went missing from their residence in Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia.
- Their disappearance triggered an extensive investigation involving over 800 tasks, prompted by police efforts to locate the children through forensic and public inquiries.
- The RCMP have conducted formal interviews with over 60 individuals, carried out polygraph examinations, analyzed approximately 5,000 video recordings, and performed forensic testing on items recovered during their search, such as a seized pink blanket and a boot print.
- Authorities have verified footage capturing the siblings with their relatives in a public setting the day prior to their disappearance. Staff Sgt. Rob McCamon stated that persistent investigative work will carry on daily until the full details of Lilly and Jack’s case are conclusively established.
- The case has been included in Nova Scotia’s Major Unsolved Crimes initiative, which provides a reward of up to $150,000 for tips that could help advance the investigation.
