Griffin Ivey Griffin, owner of WJDB radio station (99.5 FM) in Thomasville, passed away on May 9 at the Helen H. Hahn House of Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Ivey Griffin kept up with the news and happenings of Thomasville and Clarke County — and much of the rest of the region — even after he was sidelined to his porch in Oak Hill in Wilcox County.
