The Ministry of the Interior announced the establishment on Thursday 20 November of a structure of exchanges, held by specially trained police officers and gendarmes, for the under-18s in danger, witnesses or victims of abuse.
This digital space, aimed at minors who are victims or witnesses of physical and sexual violence, is launched this Thursday on the occasion of the International Day for the Rights of Children.
The chat team, accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, consists of some 40 policemen and some 30 gendarmes.
