The Ministry of Trade investigated three separate Tesla Model Y listings that were being sold for more than the price of a new car, and fined one dealership.
The Ministry of Economy and Trade has launched an investigation into advertisements selling brand-new Tesla Model Ys at prices above the list price. During the inspection, a price discrepancy of 170,000 TL was identified for one company, and one advertisement was removed.
The Ministry, after reviewing three Tesla Model Y advertisements of the same make and model, decided not to impose sanctions on the first advertisement; an administrative fine was considered for the second advertisement, and the individual advertisement was removed from publication.
The Commerce Department has tightened its controls against galleries selling Tesla Model Ys from scratch. There was punishment for the unfair price increase.
