The Ministry of National Defence (MSB) stated on its social media account that air-to-ground and air-to-air firings were carried out with L-UMTAS GM and IIR TEMREN munitions as part of the Laser-Guided Long-Range Anti-Tank Extended Range Project (L-UMTAS GM) alternative configuration development studies conducted by ROKETSAN. The ministry's post also included images of the firings.

ROKETSAN successfully fired its domestically produced L-UMTAS GM and IIR TEMREN munitions in tests conducted off the coast of Beşadalar, Antalya. In critical firings carried out in air-to-ground and air-to-air scenarios, the targets were destroyed with pinpoint accuracy.
