Nine out of ten South Koreans isolated by the massive floods in Nepal have been rescued. The government is mobilizing all diplomatic capabilities to search for the remaining nine missing persons, consulting with the Nepalese Foreign Minister and considering providing $1 million in aid and dispatching an emergency relief team.
The Nepal Army and security forces today rescued 123 people alive, 29 of whom were foreign citizens, who were isolated after the sudden flood of the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district on the Tibetan border.
