亚逸布爹区州议员林冠英呼吁中央政府重新检讨政策，豁免对商业租金以及建筑工程服务领域征收销售和服务税（SST），否则成本加重后辗转还是会转嫁至消费者身上，最终是消费者受到影响！ 也是峇眼区国会议员的他指出，目前处于经济局势极具挑战的当儿，而他也多次发声要求中央政府展延SST政策的落实，但无奈政府并无意采纳展延的建议。 “尽管如此，身为国会议员，我还是回继续的传达基层声音，要求政府展延这项政策，尤其是争取豁免商业租金的8%，以及建筑工程服务的6%服务税。” 他表示，政府向这两个领域征收SST，形同“羊毛出在羊身上”，若商业租金需缴付8%服务税，就等于商家一年需多付一个月的租金。 “而建筑工程服务方面，大部分发展计划金额都远超于150万令吉，难以符合豁免的门槛。” 他说，在成本上加重的情况下，到头来就会转嫁于消费者身上，最后依旧是人民受影响。 他是于周五上午移交拨款于选区内的团体后，召开记者会时，如是指出。出席者包括亚依淡区州议员黄顺祥。 ...........................
