Uganda: The Hackers Are Coming for Africa's Critical Infrastructure
[Independent (Kampala)] From Uganda's electricity transmission network to telecommunications and financial systems, INTERPOL says Africa is facing an increasingly sophisticated cybercrime threat as criminals turn their attention to critical infrastructure, reports Ronald Musoke.
By order of the Minister of National Defence Roberts Kaunas, enhanced protection of critical infrastructure facilities will be extended until the end of this year, the Ministry of National Defence (MND) reports.
