In order to prevent people from going hungry during the drought, the state government had recently provided jobs to workers under the VB-G Ramji (Employment Guarantee) scheme. It was also directed to pay them wages within 15 days. But now, there has been delay and negligence in paying the money in the state, and Minister Ishwar Khandre has issued a notice to the officials asking for the reason.
