BRATISLAVA - The President of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debonová, is expected to visit Slovakia next year. This was announced on Thursday by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD), during a working trip to the Republic of Malta. He also announced the opening of an honorary consulate in Malta, as the country is visited by a relatively large number of tourists from Slovakia.
The head of Slovak diplomacy will meet with Maltese representatives, including the president and foreign minister. The talks will also touch on future cooperation within the EU.
