In October 2025, a resident of the capital wrote a comment in Threads under the publication of another user, in which he denied the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, as well as the very existence of the master plan "Ost" as one of the stages of the genocide.
The Public Prosecutor ' s Office has referred a criminal case to the court against a 40-year-old resident of Minsk, accused of denying the genocide of the Belarusian people (art. 130-2, para. 1 of the Criminal Code). According to the Public Prosecutor ' s Office ' s Office ' s report, the case was prompted by comments and posts on the Threads network.
