Milwaukee Manufacturer Acquiring Honeywell Unit for $1.4b

On Monday, Honeywell announced it agreed to sell its Productivity Solutions and Services business to Brady Corporation for $1.4 billion in an all-cash transaction.
The deal advances Honeywell's portfolio simplification strategy, designed to streamline operations ahead of the planned spin-off of its Aerospace business in the third quarter of 2026.
PSS generated approximately $1.1 billion in 2025 revenue and provides mobile computers and barcode scanners for warehouse and logistics markets. Brady President and CEO Russell Sheller said the acquisition "will significantly expand our portfolio."
Honeywell Chairman and CEO Vimal Kapur said the divestiture enables the company to "continue strengthening our financial and operational focus on the company's core businesses" as it nears completion of its multi-year transformation.
Expected to close in the second half of 2026, the transaction allows Honeywell to remain focused on assessing strategic alternatives for its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business.
