Fighting continues along the Mae Sot border, with Myanmar troops clashing with Karen forces. Gunfire has landed on the Thai side, causing damage in three locations.
One of the last attacks the Burmese military junta has targeted families and civilians of the village of Yei Twin Gone, in the Bogo regone, where soldiers in the previous days had arrested about 160 inhabitants for information about the local leaders of the resistance.
