Military delegation visits late Gen. Rabe Abubakar's family, vows justice
The delegation honored the retired general’s service, presented a national flag, and vowed to help ensure those responsible for his death face justice.
- On Sunday, a Defence Headquarters delegation led by Major General Abdullahi paid condolence visits to the family of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar and the Katsina State Government following his death.
- Major General Abdullahi described the late officer as a dedicated soldier who served Nigeria with distinction for more than three decades, presenting a national flag to recognize his service.
- At the Katsina State Government House, Deputy Governor Mallam Faruk Lawal Jobe received the delegation, describing the death as a painful loss while pledging continued state support for military operations in the North-West.
- Major General Abdullahi assured the family that security agencies would work to ensure those responsible for the death are brought to justice, while special prayers were offered for the repose of his soul.
- Responding for the family, Alhaji Dikko Mu azu Ruma, the Gado da Masun Katsina, thanked the Armed Forces for their solidarity as senior military commanders accompanied the delegation to honor the late officer's legacy.
