(Milan, IN) – A six-year-old boy who lost both of his parents in a crash this summer has been named an honorary coach at Milan High School. The Milan School Board this week approved the appointment of Knight Walters as an honorary boys basketball coach for the 2026-27 season. “I am super excited for him and very happy that he is going to be a part of that high school program,” Superintendent Pat Murphy said.
