Middletown residents say memorial field may be moved

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — A rally in Middletown were residents voice their support to prevent a local field from being relocated. Organizer’s said the town council made an agreement with redevelopers to turn Pottsy Field into a town center. The field was named after Chrisopter Potts who was a Tiverton soldier in the National Guard. Potts was 38-years-old when he was killed in Iraq.
