Micron is the first manufacturer in the world to produce a 6th generation PCIe SSD in mass production with the Micron 9650. The new SSD should handle up to 28 000 MB/s during sequential reading and up to 14 000 MB/s during sequential writing. However, this requires a PCIe 6 slot in the computer.
