LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man accused of a hate crime at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pleaded no contest Wednesday to a lesser charge. Cale Wacker, 22, of Norfolk was found guilty of assault causing bodily injury, a misdemeanor. Sahil Police arrested six young men for impersonating police officers near the Toor Hanif Mosque in DHA Phase VIII. The suspects, all dressed in official police uniforms and riding three motorcycles, were stopped during a routine patrol after their suspicious behaviour caught the attention of patrolling officers.
