Representatives of the international organization Four Paws, in agreement with the owner, took 24-year-old bear Mici from the enclosure at the inn in Završnica to the Arbesbach shelter in northern Austria. They hope to rescue bear Timo from Horjul next year, thus ending private ownership of brown bears in Slovenia.
Bearess "Mici" who had to endure her previous life in front of a restaurant near Bled in Slovenia, was moved on Tuesday by "Four Paws" to the Bärenwald Arbesbach.
