CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey (13-14-0, 6-11-0 NCHC) dropped its series opener to Miami (15-8-2, 6-7-2 NCHC), 2-1, on Friday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud. All three goals were scored in a 4:16 span of the second period, with Miami scoring first before a power play goal from senior defenseman Cooper Wylie followed by the game-winner from Miami's John Emmons.
