Miami money adviser accused of swindling $94 million from Venezuelans, Catholic groups

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, JUL 18 – Andrew H. Jacobus allegedly ran a two-decade Ponzi scheme targeting Venezuelan investors and two Catholic dioceses, fraudulently obtaining $94 million, according to a July 2023 federal indictment.
