- Arrested on a Sunrise Police warrant, Lyle was booked into Broward Main Jail on Thursday and released the same day after posting a $55,000 bond, according to the State Attorney.
- The Athletics Department acknowledged the incident Friday, stating, "We are aware of an incident involving student-athlete Jordan Lyle. As due legal process runs its course, we will have no further comment at this time."
- Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal said on Tuesday he saw a "full-speed player" with improved physical traits, noting the running back was previously limited by injuries during the 2025 season.
