Doctor Mysteriously Found Dead Inside Dollar Tree Freezer Reportedly Naked
Miami-Dade homicide detectives seek information on Tania Charles's death after surveillance captured a man dumping her body; a $5,000 reward is offered for tips.
- On Friday, Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputies asked the public for information after 27-year-old Tania Charles was found dead in West Perrine, Detective Samantha A. Choon said.
- Responding to reports of an unresponsive person, deputies arrived at the 9800 block of Southwest 170th Street just before 6 a.m., and Charles was dead shortly after 5:40 a.m.
- A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered, and deputies urged anyone with tips to call Homicide Detective H. Garcia at 305-471-2400 or Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers.
- Officials haven't said how Charles died, and the Miami-Dade homicide bureau is investigating while detectives work to determine what led up to her death in West Perrine.
- Surveillance footage showed the woman's body being dumped on the roadway, and Ron Von Paulus said video showed a truck driver open the trunk to abandon the body at about 5 a.m. Friday.
