MI lawmaker receives rabies shots after bat encounter as CDC warns of increased exposures

State Rep. Emily Dievendorf, D-Lansing, woke up in their small apartment a few weeks ago to find a bat flying through their room. They cornered the small, winged mammal, trapping it in a box and releasing it outside.   That, the state representative has since learned, was a poor choice.
