Mexico’s Dependence on Gas Generation Grows

During the last week, U.S. exports of natural gas to Mexico averaged more than 7.4 billion cubic feet per day (7.4 bcfd), 5% more than last May’s seasonal peak and equalling the historic weekly record set in August 2024.
