The city of Guadalupe, Mexico, will deploy a unit of four unarmed robot dogs, called K9-X, to monitor the BBVA stadium during the 2026 World Cup. These machines will act as the first technological responders to detect threats and protect human security forces in high-risk situations, marking a new step in the automation of the security of major events.
