In Mexico, hepatitis C ranks fourth in the world in mortality and it is estimated that 600,000 Mexicans suffer from it, so the Ministry of Health of the country seeks to eliminate this curable disease as a public health problem, reported the National Center for the Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis (Censide).
