Mexico rescued, on Thursday, 16 Cuban migrants who were on a driftboat and from which there was no news since last week, reported a source from the Mexican Navy to AFP. The boat departed from the province of Pinar del Río, west of Havana, on August 11, and its whereabouts were unknown since then, according to Cuban and United States press vehicles.
