More than 2,700 arrests have been made for supporting the banned group Palestine Action since last year as the Government's appeal continues.
- More than 2,700 people have been arrested for allegedly supporting the banned group Palestine Action, which organises protests against companies profiting from Israeli military actions.
- While the High Court ruled the proscription of Palestine Action unlawful, the government is appealing, meaning supporting the group remains a criminal offence punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
