A drone crashed on Romanian territory during a Russian attack on neighboring Ukraine, the Romanian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday. The drone came down in an uninhabited area in the Romanian province of Tulcea, according to the ministry.
A drone entered Romanian airspace, approximately 13 kilometres east of Galatí, and at 03.24 a.m. it fell approximately 4 kilometres north-east of Grindu, Tulcea County, in an unpopulated area, in a communication from the MApN. Two F-18 aircraft of the Spanish Air and Space Forces were raised from the ground to monitor the situation. A RO-Alert message was transmitted.
