All shows and events at Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe will be cancelled for the rest of the year and ticket holders are being offered refunds, according to the City of Ottawa, due to damage caused by the July 1st flooding.

The City of Ottawa is cancelling all shows, plays and productions at the Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe until the end of the year due to the damage caused by heavy rain on Canada Day.
Water infiltrations occurred during the violent storms of July 1st. They severely damaged the theatre in the west of the city, including the main stage, the orchestra pit, seats, studios and several equipments. For now, all shows, events and rentals are cancelled until the end of the year. Ticket holders will be reimbursed. The City is still assessing the extent of the work required, and no re-opening schedule has yet been set.
