The Former Wells Fargo Center Is Now, Officially, the Xfinity Mobile Arena
Comcast Spectacor and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment rebrand Philadelphia arena with Xfinity Mobile naming rights until a new venue opens in 2031, officials said.
- On August 14, 2025, Comcast Spectacor said the venue will now operate as Xfinity Mobile Arena, with signage going up immediately.
- Comcast Spectacor noted the previous rights expired after the 2024-25 seasons, and the new agreement runs through the 2030-31 seasons.
- Social media and marketing materials now display Xfinity Mobile Arena, with crews installing exterior signage and updating LED banners this Thursday.
- Ticket holders need not worry as all previously scheduled events and tickets remain valid, and a Thursday-planned early September ceremony will unveil exterior signage.
- By 2031, a new shared Sixers and Flyers arena is expected to open in South Philly, with Comcast Spectacor saying it will be ready then and the arena will host the area’s new WNBA team debuting in 2030.
