- More than 5,000 people now work directly at the Kecskemét plant, which produces internal combustion engine vehicles, plug‑in hybrids, fully electric models, and hosts Mercedes' first research and development centre in Hungary.
- Following the plant's construction decisions, investments created thousands of jobs and infrastructure, and ongoing capacity expansions aim to keep Kecskemét central to compact and electrified models, Péter Szijjártó announced.
