Mercedes-Benz re-recalls electric EQB over battery-fire risk
Owners of certain all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQB models may be affected by a new recall, one that points fingers at possible problems with the high-voltage battery. According to documents filed by Transport Canada (TC), some 2022- and 2023-model-year copies of the EQB could exhibit a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, battery modules could overheat and short-circuit.
