The David Forrest Memorial Tournament is ready to throw the first pitch on June 19 in Ladysmith. Put on by the Ladysmith Baseball Association since 1999, the tournament, which runs June 19-21, is in memory of David Forrest, a young athlete from Ladysmith who had a passion for baseball, who died at the age of 15 from meningococcal meningitis.
