The Maritime Major Girls Hockey League handed out its major awards and a few local players made the list. Hali Rose MacLean of the Northern Subway Selects was named top forward in the league. Selects defender Lexi MacIntyre was named to the first all-star team, while Amy Field and Ana McArthur made the second all star team. Shawnn Richards and Laila Burris made the all rookie team.
