Five individuals tragically died inside a well in Shillong's Lapalang area. They succumbed to toxic generator fumes while attempting to pump water. Four labourers were working inside the well when the incident occurred. Two brothers entered the well to rescue them but also perished. Police are investigating the unfortunate accident at the construction site.
